PictureBox is a subscription video on demand film service offering a selection of films and TV shows since 2006.
Stereo was approached by NBCUniversal to update PictureBox’s visual identity to reflect the brand’s new positioning and help attract new clients and markets.
Aimed at a family audience across multiple international markets, the new service had to communicate its offer in a way that would work across these cultures: tailored, simple and entertaining.
Evolving the current logo to show continuity with PictureBox’s brand heritage, the new brand identity invigorates the brand, reflecting the new positioning and moving it towards an exciting future.
The camera lens marque that forms the logo frame shows that top-quality movies are still at the heart of PictureBox but by expanding its offering and reaching out to new territories the brand continues to think outside the box.
The new visual identity rolled out this autumn and has helped to impact and grow the business across UK, Scandinavia, LatAm, Russia and Poland.
